Slipknot are spending this year celebrating the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album and on Monday (April 29) announced more festivities: Knotfest Iowa. The homecoming festival is billed as a "one night only special 25th anniversary event" and features a killer lineup. Till Lindemann, Knocked Loose, Hatebreed, Poison The Well, GWAR, Vended, Dying Wish, ZULU and more are set to join Slipknot on the bill.

The band played their first show of the year last week at the 350-capacity Pappy & Harriett's in Pioneertown, California before co-headlining the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas. For both shows, The Nine wore their classic original masks and red boiler suits. The intimate show was the band's first with their new drummer; however, they have yet to reveal the musician's identity.

Slipknot parted ways with longtime drummer Jay Weinberg in November. Last month, Weinberg revealed he joined Suicidal Tendancies. Although the band hasn't announced his replacement, fans are convinced it's ex-Sepultura drummer Eloy Casagrande after Slipknot shared a sly social media post in March.

Slipknot's playing a handful of festivals this year, including Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida, Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, Rocklahoma in Pryer, Oklahoma, Louder Than Life in Louisville and Aftershock in Sacramento.
